Carmel & Naccasha LLP is a growing SLO County firm. Our attorneys have a broad range of legal experience and have practiced law locally and nationally. The firm’s lawyers focus their practice and provide exemplary client services in the areas of business transactions, real property, land use, municipal law, commercial and employment litigation, taxation and tax controversies, trusts and estate planning, wine law, and insurance coverage. We also provide banks with asset entitlement evaluation services for assistance with commercial loans that include an entitlement and/or development component.

Tim Carmel, the firm's founding co-partner is City Attorney for the City of Arroyo Grande, and serves as District Counsel to Cambria Community Services District, the Cayucos Sanitary District, San Miguel Community Services District and a number of Community Services and Water Districts. Ziyad Naccasha and Mike McMahon both have extensive experience working with large firms prior to moving to the Central Coast. Ziyad practiced in Chicago for 12 years and Mike practiced in Los Angeles for 13 years. Jeannie Goshgarian and B.J. Baker practiced in Seattle for several years before returning to California. In 2009, Art Montandon, David Hirsch, Mara Mamet and Don Wilson joined the firm. Art and David bring decades of experience in municipal law, while Mara spent many years as a legal advisor for the State Bar of California. Don also comes from the Los Angeles area, where he practiced for nearly 30 years, specializing in a wide range of civil litigation matters. In February of 2010, the firm added a new associate, Erica Stuckey, who is working in the municipal law and the transactional law practice areas.
