Mike's practice involves primarily civil litigation, including real estate, employment and business litigation. He has tried cases on behalf of public agencies and for one of the country's largest telecommunications companies. He has also provided advice and counsel to clients on construction and employment-related matters. Since coming to work for Carmel & Naccasha, LLP, Mike has become involved in land use matters. Mike received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from University of California, Irvine in 1988. He received his law degree from Arizona State College of Law in 1991 and was senior note and comment editor of the Arizona State Law Journal. In addition to being admitted to practice in the State of California, Mike is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. During his tenure as a court attorney for the San Luis Obispo County Superior Court, Mike regularly served as a judge pro tem. Mike is a member of the San Luis Obispo County Bar Association. Mike is involved in his home community of Paso Robles as a youth sports coach and in the High School and Middle School Mock Trial Competition. He is also an avid bicyclist, logging thousands of miles per year on SLO County roads. |
