Ellen Sheffer has been a paralegal and educator for nearly 30 years. She earned her degree from Lindenwood University in 1977. She is the co-author, with Stacey Hunt, of Evidence Management for the Paralegal (Cengage, 2007). She is the former director of the Paralegal Studies Program at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, as well as an instructor in the program. She was the conference director and a speaker for a national company that provided continuing legal education to attorneys and paralegals. Ellen served on the board of directors of the Commission for Advanced California Paralegal Specialization and sat on the Certifying Board for the National Association of Legal Assistants. She is a presenter at paralegal seminars throughout the U.S. Ellen has contributed articles to national legal publications, including American Lawyer Magazine. She has served as the program chair for Central Coast Paralegal Association. She is currently a member of the advisory board for the paralegal studies program at Cuesta College, as well as board trustee for the San Luis Coastal Unified School District. |
