Leslie Donahue came to Carmel & Naccasha, LLP from the San Luis Obispo Superior Court Civil Division where she held a variety of positions for over a decade. Leslie earned her paralegal certificate from Penn State University in 1983 and has been continuously employed as a paralegal since then. Her litigation background encompasses both defense and plaintiff practice of insurance, professional negligence, personal injury and products liability law. Leslie has been a board member of the Central Coast Paralegal Association since 1987. In 2003 Leslie was appointed vice president of administration of the California Alliance of Paralegal Associations (CAPA)and was elected CAPA's vice president of policy in 2009. CAPA is credited with authoring the Assembly bill that became codified as Business & Professions Code 6450 which sets forth standards for paralegals. |
